About Our Craftsmanship
My name is Nora Santana, and I am the professional alterations expert at Art Tailors. I have over 30 years of experience in custom design and alterations of different types of men, women’s, and children’s clothing. Originally from Bogota Colombia, I have an industrial fashion degree from Arturo Tejada Cano, the premier fashion design college in Colombia.
Art Tailors in Carytown was originally founded in 1953 by Solomon Zinn, a survivor of the holocaust during World War II. I provide expert alterations and design on traditional, contemporary, and trending fashion styles, while continuing the high quality and dedication to friendly customer service that has been a tradition at Art Tailors for over 65 years.
I work on all types of clothing, including wedding gowns, prom dresses, men’s suits and jackets, tuxedos, coats, and children’s clothing. I provide both basic repair of damaged clothing as well as highly specialized alterations. I provide highly individualized alteration services, realizing that every customer is unique, as is their need for alteration services.
